LogoBadge ("we", "our", or "us") is a Shopify app developed by ShipAnywhere. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our app.

1. Information We Collect

LogoBadge collects minimal information:

• Store information: Your Shopify store URL and name, provided during app installation through Shopify's standard OAuth process.
• App settings: Configuration data you enter in the Theme Editor (Google Maps URL, badge size, spacing preferences).
• Google Places data: We fetch your business rating and review count from Google Places API using the Google Maps URL you provide. This data is cached for 24 hours on our servers.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

LogoBadge does not collect, store, or process:

• Customer personal data
• Order information
• Payment or financial data
• Browsing behavior or analytics
• Cookies or tracking data
• Product or inventory data

3. How We Use Information

The information collected is used solely to:

• Authenticate your app installation via Shopify OAuth
• Display your Google Reviews badge on your storefront
• Fetch and cache your Google rating and review count
• Communicate important app updates

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties. We use the Google Places API solely to retrieve your business review data. No merchant or customer data is sent to Google or any other third party.

5. Data Storage and Security

App configuration data is stored within your Shopify theme settings, managed by Shopify's infrastructure. Google Places data is cached temporarily (24 hours) on our servers hosted on Railway. Session data is stored in an encrypted database.

6. Data Retention

When you uninstall LogoBadge, all app-related settings are removed from your theme and all session data is deleted from our servers. Cached Google Places data expires automatically after 24 hours.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your app configuration data through the Shopify Theme Editor
• Modify or delete your settings at any time
• Uninstall the app to remove all associated data
• Request information about what data we hold

8. GDPR Compliance

LogoBadge does not collect or process personal data of your customers. We comply with all applicable data protection regulations including GDPR. We respond to all data access, deletion, and portability requests via our compliance webhook endpoints.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
